Prank

Prankulance

Prank, SillinessMatthew RyanComment

A loose conversation and brainstorming session about pranks, many performed by EMTs in an ambulance, and an idea to turn an old ambulance into a prank/flashmob entry/getaway vehicle. Also: a prank involving stealing pizzas and/or spoiling them by putting pineapple on them; using "Oh Danny Boy" from the Chumbawumba song "Tubthumping" as the siren for the prankulance; a heist movie parody with five pranksters and the prankulance, involving stealing extra food from parties and (like Robin Hood) redistributing it to needy broke comedians, and also handing babies live chickens (as a distraction during the food theft, and also because Shelly thinks babies holding chickens are really cute)

Imaginary Friend Prank

Silliness, PrankRheila GraeComment

Idea: A prank where a group of people at a restaurant pretend to interact with an imaginary friend, including ordering for them, arguing with them, eating the food off their plate (when the wait staff isn't looking), getting the wait staff to sing happy birthday to an empty chair, etc. Also: playing a similar imaginary friend prank at work (with the help of a coworker) for months; fabricating a life story of an imaginary friend, including their dating history, their failed attempts to land a job, etc; creating a Facebook page or GoFundMe for an imaginary friend

Pizza Insurance Hijinks

Food, Prank, SillinessRon RigbyComment

Ideas for gaming the Domino's Pizza "pizza insurance" to get free pizza. Also: carrying a pizza recklessly because you know that it's insured; destroying a pizza by putting soy sauce on it; do they offer insurance against them laughing at you when you come back covered in pizza and blood?

Poo-pourri Air Horn Prank

Prank, Silliness, NSFWGimmy CiprianoComment

Idea: A prank where a very loud air horn is disguised as "poo pouri" toilet spray. If someone has to go to the bathroom really badly, and they try to spray the "toilet spray" before pulling down their pants, the shock of the unexpected air horn might cause them to accidentally "let one loose" in their pants next to the toilet. It could also sound like a fart and/or release a bad smell, letting other people know that you're pooping, which is a fact that you were trying to hide by using the "toilet spray". Also: using sound vibrations from the air horn to dislodge kidney stones; keeping a urine sample in the fridge at work

Renaissance Festival Astronaut Prank

Silliness, PrankNoah ChappComment

Idea: To go to a Renaissance festival dressed as an astronaut to screw with people. Also: maybe this isn't the best idea, given that people with questionable sanity are walking around with swords; Renaissance festival cleavage; fighting the impulse to distract a sword swallower while he's swallowing a sword; encouraging a kid to juggle fire instead of knives

Remote-Controlled Radio-Powered LEDs

Prank, Tech, FuturisticJeff JohnsonComment

Idea: To use tiny LED lights which can be powered remotely via radio waves (like RFID) for miscellaneous purposes around the house, such as to help you find things or to prank people. Also: putting red LEDs in a squirrel lawn ornament's eyes to scare people walking by at night; using a PC app to find your phone, then using your phone to blink an LED to find your glasses, and then using your glasses to find something else, and then maybe using that thing to find something else, like a never-ending scavenger hunt

Truman Show Prank

TV Show, Prank, EvilJosh BowabComment

Idea: To prank someone into thinking they're a star of a hidden-camera reality TV show, similar to the Jim Carrey movie "The Truman Show". Also: When you're a weird person, you sometimes think that you're being "Truman Show'd", using VR to "Truman Show" someone, using VR porn as a weapon to get people to injure themselves by kinking their necks trying to see the action

Spheres-Are-Us and Death Contracts

Silliness, PrankJoey DerderianComment

Two idea: 1) Two sharp blades connected by a pivot point and used to cut paper, 2) house payment contracts which are meant to be paid until you die. Also: totally-not-invented-before ideas, the origins of the word "mortgage", quitting a job out of moral principle

Obama Challenge

Event or Activity, Silliness, Prank, EducationTom WalmaComment

Idea: A social experiment or contest to see what's memorable. A bunch of contestants would each do something weird or interesting while meeting a famous person (such as President Obama) in public for a 5-10 second handshake or autograph. Then, years later, the famous person is put in a room with each of the contestants, to see which contestants were remembered by the famous person

My Little Satanist Starter Kit

Evil, Prank, SillinessRichie McLonisComment

It's weird that the Ouija Board, an occult/spiritualist séance communication device, was marketed to kids by a major corporation (Hasbro) as a toy. Idea: why not also sell other witchcraft/satanist/voodoo items to kids as a kit? The kit could include items such as voodoo dolls, a pentagram on a Twister-like sheet, fake blood, about 40 fake candles, etc. Technology could also be used, such as wearable devices to shock you when someone pokes the voodoo doll, or a GPS tracker that alerts someone when you're using the kit, so they can come scare you

Telemarketer Punching App

Evil, SciFi, PrankRobert SchneiderComment

Idea: An app with the supernatural, comic-book-like ability to punch telemarketers through the phone as revenge for annoying you. Since most of them are located overseas and outside the jurisdiction of US criminal courts, there probably wouldn't be any legal ramifications
