Evil

Shoplifting-Based Economy

Futuristic, Silliness, EvilTom WalmaComment

Idea: A weird and possibly accidentally evil idea for a futuristic economy where shoplifting is not only no longer a crime, it's actually a completely acceptable method of commerce

Tsunami Machine

Evil, InventionTom WalmaComment

Idea: Scientists predict that a landslide on a tiny island off the coast of Africa could create a mega-tsunami across the entire East Coast of the US. Since such a small thing (a landslide on a tiny island) can create a tsunami, it should also be possible to design a giant machine to create a tsunami. Also: maybe a tsunami machine could create a tsunami to cancel out another tsunami

Uncooked Chicken Diet

Evil, Health, Silliness, FoodDan TurcoComment

Idea: To intentionally eat uncooked chicken to get sick in order to lose weight. It would be normal uncooked chicken with cooking instructions on the package that leave it undercooked, and these instructions would justify charging twice the normal price. Also: a few other ridiculously unhealthy ideas for losing weight

Brain Altering Helmet TV Show

TV Show, Tech, Futuristic, EvilTom WalmaComment

Idea: A TV show where people wear a brain altering helmet (as covered on the Radiolab episode "Nine-Volt Nirvana") which can temporarily induce terror, relaxation, enhanced learning ability, disabled morality, etc. Then, they'd be put in a scenario, such as putting someone in a haunted house and modifying their brain to induce terror, or testing a religious person by putting them in a stressful situation and shutting off their sense of morality, just to see what will happen

My Little Satanist Starter Kit

Evil, Prank, SillinessRichie McLonisComment

It's weird that the Ouija Board, an occult/spiritualist séance communication device, was marketed to kids by a major corporation (Hasbro) as a toy. Idea: why not also sell other witchcraft/satanist/voodoo items to kids as a kit? The kit could include items such as voodoo dolls, a pentagram on a Twister-like sheet, fake blood, about 40 fake candles, etc. Technology could also be used, such as wearable devices to shock you when someone pokes the voodoo doll, or a GPS tracker that alerts someone when you're using the kit, so they can come scare you

eHomicide

App, Evil, SillinessJustin SiekierkaComment

Idea: A (fictional, satirical) website for connecting terminally ill people who wish to die with serial killers who wish to kill them. The goal would be to solve the problems of unwanted end-of-life suffering, and of healthy people being killed. It would be similar to an online dating website, and would help people find a compatible match based on criteria such as the method of execution, location of execution, physical attractiveness, political party, etc. Also, it would also be a great way to reduce health care costs, and the terminally ill could serve as "test dummies" for new medical devices/procedures which aren't perfected enough to permanently cure them, but could give them a short-term boost in health, in order to make them a more challenging (and therefore satisfying) kill

DickAfterlife Messaging App

App, Social Media, EvilCamila BallarioComment

Idea: An app/service to send social media messages to people on your behalf after you die, so you can get your revenge and/or say constructive things that you don't have the courage to say, and avoid dealing with the consequences. It could make money by charging you if you a) change your mind and don't want to send a message, or b) are on your deathbed and want to see other people's afterlife messages which they targeted to you

ShameMe App

App, Evil, NSFW, SillinessLeighton WardComment

Idea: An app to fat-shame you, or shame you in some other way, to motivate you to lose weight or improve yourself. It could also provide motivational/instructional advice, such as "Today's diet plan: don't eat". It could be location-aware and insult you if you walk into a fast food restaurant. You could anonymously hire childhood bullies, family members, or celebrities to send audio of customized insults to incorporate into the app

Global Warming Apocalypse Party

Doomsday Prepping, Evil, Futuristic, Politics and Social IssueBrent Von KalamazooComment

Idea: Set a deadline to fix global warming emissions, and if we fail to meet the deadline, "calling it quits for civilization", and conducting a worldwide party for a couple years, or until the food runs out. That way, everybody gets a couple years of the highest quality living, instead of slow miserable decline towards a Mad Max hell

Last Addict Standing Competition TV Show

Evil, Event or Activity, NSFW, TV Show, SillinessDavid SutherlandComment

Idea: A competition-based reality show, like Survivor, where each team member is addicted to a different recreational drug. The teams compete in both physical and mental events, and the drug addition may help or hinder their performance in the event, possibly in hilarious ways. The members of the winning team are rewarded either with a large supply of their drug, or rehab (their choice)

Audio Parasite

Evil, SciFi, Body Augmentation, Futuristic, TechMatt HamiltonComment

Idea: An electronic device that digs into your ear like a parasite and broadcasts Matt's voice into your brain. Most people would prefer to READ people's minds, but Matt is a narcissist who wants the exact opposite. And he wants to do it to the entire world. The way to defeat him would be to broadcast his voice back to him with a slight delay like a "speech jammer"

Telemarketer Punching App

Evil, SciFi, PrankRobert SchneiderComment

Idea: An app with the supernatural, comic-book-like ability to punch telemarketers through the phone as revenge for annoying you. Since most of them are located overseas and outside the jurisdiction of US criminal courts, there probably wouldn't be any legal ramifications

AirBnBnBnE

EvilLouie MichaelComment

Louis accidentally locked himself out of his AirBnB. He then used YouTube lockpicking tutorials to break into his AirBnB, which was so easy, he succeeded on his first try. This incident inspired his idea, which is an app to help you find wealthy people in nearby AirBnBs to burglarize

Shock Collars for People

EvilSteve KazComment

Shock collars or ankle bracelets for unruly children, comedians who're bombing on stage, or people who're trying to quit smoking. Also, if in public, is it more humane (or less in-humane) to discretely shock someone's ankle or visibly spray them in the face with a spray bottle?

Twenty Years Of No New Kids

Evil, Politics and Social IssueMatt HamiltonComment

Idea: Everyone agrees to stop having kids for twenty years to allow us to focus on building bullet trains and making other improvements to society. But it might lead to unintended problems, such as women who're desperate to become mothers kidnapping the last children, and the death of all birds (because many people who would've had children would have cats instead)
