Self-Driving Delivery Cars Without Human Safety Features

Cars, Futuristic, TechMark SweetmanComment

Idea: After you go shopping, you'll leave in a self-driving one-person car which has human safety features, and your purchased items would go into a self-driving delivery car which is cheap because it doesn't need airbags or safety features required for transporting people. The self-driving delivery car might combine multiple deliveries in one trip like Uber carpooling, and might not arrive at your house as quickly as you do

City of the Dead

MovieMark SweetmanComment

Idea: To reuse polluted/unusable land in torn down Detroit neighborhoods as cemeteries. Also: to preserve ruins of architecturally impressive buildings in Detroit to use as tourist attractions (like the ruins of ancient Rome), to film apocalyptic movies and zombie movies in Detroit

Detroit Pyramid

Health, ArtTom WalmaComment

Idea: To use ancient/low-tech building techniques and (well-paid) manual labor to build a giant pyramid in Detroit out of the waste material of torn down buildings. Also: Flint Stonehenge, watching people move the 10+ ton blocks is more entertaining than viewing a completed pyramid, building a pyramid for exercise

Note: This episode was recorded in a Subway restaurant (because our recording venue was unexpectedly closed when we arrived)
