Russian Roulette Diet 2

Evil, Health, SillinessTom Walma1 Comment

Idea: A satirical weight loss program where you strategically jump between (mostly) unhealthy weight loss techniques to ensure you don't do any of them long enough to cause permanent bodily damage. Examples of weight loss techniques included in the program could be fasting, tapeworm, stimulants, medically-induced coma, Fen-Fen (a banned diet pill cocktail), Wim Hof ice hikes, a jug of pre-colonoscopy laxative, Alli (a drug which blocks fat absorption and can give you oily anal leakage), getting flu/Covid on purpose, eating blowfish to fill up your stomach to prevent hunger, etc. Also: a medical professional would monitor you and pull you off an unhealthy weight loss technique early if necessary, and also, for example, make sure you don't do two things that are harmful to your liver in a row; it could be made into a competition show like The Biggest Loser with a spinning wheel for choosing the next technique or a Bride Wars-type show where people try to lose weight before getting married; questioning assumptions and laws concerning the level of harm of drugs

Forklift Driving Competition Tour

Event or Activity, SportsJae GonzalezComment

Idea: To expand the forklift driving championship into a multi-city touring competition/festival, and also expand it to include a variety of forklift and warehouse-related events. Also: forklift events could include obstacle courses (difficult turns, uneven and wet floors, mannequins or robots in the way, etc.), box stacking (speed, height, perfect box alignment), picking up and moving things without knocking over nearby things (kind of like Jenga or a puzzle), team events, racing against auto-pickers (robotic forklifts), etc.; non-forklift events could involve cranes, semi trucks, Amazon warehouse-style manually gathering of items from shelves, etc.; a tour could involve traveling pros competing against each other, amateur events, and possibly allowing amateurs to compete against the pros (like a pro-am); maybe WWE-ify it with foam boxes that are almost guaranteed to tumble down and forklifts that are modified to safely crash

Parent Cool Pods

App, Artificial Intelligence, FuturisticChris YoungComment

Idea: An AI-based app which runs on nearby people's (primarily teenagers) phones/Airpods and/or augmented reality glasses that filters (in real-time) how they hear and/or see you in order to make them perceive you as "cool". Also: making it appear like you're saying cool Gen Z/Alpha slang, and a list of recent slang words/expressions and whether we think they're funny; it could be customized based on the age of the person wearing the Airpods/glasses to make a middle-aged person seem cool to their elderly parents and vice-versa; it could also translate slang so you can understand what the kids are saying and/or tell you if a song or product is "cool"; if 50 year old celebs like Kenny Chesney and Snoop Dogg can be perceived by kids as cool, why can't their parents and teachers (with the help of this app)?
