Rethinking Traditional Social Events

Ideas to make boring traditional social events better or at least less inconvenient, such as making them shorter, moving them to Sunday morning so they don't interfere with afternoon recreation activities, teleconferencing (for some of them), and some silly ideas like conducting baby/wedding showers and funerals through a drive-thru. Also: high school graduates going on a trip with their friends instead of spending money to host a "graduation party"; getting rid of Thanksgiving but keeping "Thanksgiving Eve"; robots with TVs/monitors for heads to allow both divorced parents to virtually attend the same real-world event without fighting (the screen could go blank if it gets too close to the ex); comedians getting invited to less social events and/or getting pressured to perform at social events

Magic Trick Explainer App

Idea: An app which explains magic tricks that you just watched, either on TV or in person. Also: discussing whether learning how a magic trick works ruins the excitement and wonder of watching the trick; the app might distract a live audience and cause them to talk or heckle during the show; a story about performing in a standup comedy show where an audience member brought a "clown horn" and used it during the entire show

Stuffed Mozzarella Sticks

Idea: To inject various foods into deep-fried mozzarella sticks to give them a custom flavor, such as ground beef, pizza sauce, basil, garlic, or pepperoni. Also: inverting the jalapeno popper; nacho cheese inside of mozzarella cheese; hiding veggies in the mozzarella sticks, like in Jerry Seinfeld's wife's book, which we can't remember whether or not was plagiarized

Doppelganger Finder App

Idea: An app to help you search for a doppelganger (i.e. someone who looks exactly like you) on the Internet, and if it finds someone (or if you see one, such as in an advertisement), it helps you get in contact with them, so you can meet up and do pranks and other fun stuff together. Also: sharing a job and health insurance with your doppelganger; seeing a doppelganger in a photo and wondering if it was actually you in the photo and that maybe you have undiagnosed amnesia or DID (dissociative identity disorder); Liberace and using plastic surgery to create a doppelganger; a similar app that finds your "psychic soulmate" from a psychic's sketch

Bug Zapper Earrings

Idea: Earrings which also function as a bug zapper, to be worn while camping to keep the bugs away. Also: the risk of electrocuting your head if you dive into a lake; using them as a mini-grill for tiny diet-sized pieces of chicken; shoving your wife's head towards a spider; if her ears start smoking, either she just killed a bug or she's really mad
