DM's Sliders Restaurant

Food, Silliness, Business Idea, NSFWBrandon BirkComment

Idea: A restaurant that specializes in White Castle style sliders (which Brandon knows how to cook) and is themed around dirty jokes relating to "sliding into someone's DMs" and sexting, such as "DICK PICKles", ketchup packets labelled as "Sup?", and placemats with people's faces on them so you can get sauce all over them. Also: ordering the food via text using dirty talk and emojis; the wait staff could either "play it straight", talk dirty and use dirty jokes and puns, or act super offended; having a separate room behind a video store style beaded doorway for the more explicitly adult-themed jokes and menu, so normal people and maybe even kids can feel comfortable in the main area of the restaurant

Foul-Smelling Scented Candles

Business Idea, SillinessMorgan SterlingComment

Idea: Scented candles with scents that most people would find bad, but which you enjoy, such as gasoline, lawn clippings, Newports (which smell like home), etc. Also: a prank candle that smells like natural gas; using a foul-smelling scented candle to intentionally end a bad Netflix-and-Chill session; a scented candle made from belly button lint that sparkles when the small hairs ignite

Weather Gambling

App, Business Idea, SillinessCalvin G BakerComment

Idea: An app for gambling on the weather. Also: a racing-themed gambling game on when a storm will arrive and a dart-themed gambling game on where lightning will strike; the mob corrupting the weatherman and causingg him to lie during the weather forecast; predicting rainbows and a PSA warning people of the dangers of car accidents from watching rainbows while driving; elderly women dominating weather gambling by using weather-predicting birds and/or sensing the weather with their achy joints

Remote Buffet

Business Idea, Food, Futuristic, RobotsTom WalmaComment

Idea: A buffet where you order your food by watching a live video feed (while you're at a drive-thru or using an app) and telling a worker who's at the buffet what foods to grab. Also: using robots to scoop the food and/or deliver the food; having it count calories as they scoop, and using the remote buffet for all of your meals to ensure portion control to lose weight; drive-thru liquor stores using "growlers" and other refillable containers to buy the exact quantity of alcohol that you want; an embarrassing childhood buffet incident at Ponderosa Steakhouse

International House of Toilets

Business Idea, Silliness, NSFWTom WalmaComment

Idea: A commercialized bathroom that contains different types of toilets from around the world (bidets, pit toilets, etc.), so you can try them out before traveling or before buying one, and to allow foreigners to use a familiar type of toilet. Also: extra clothes for the case of mishaps, such as a knee snapping and causing you to fall into a pit toilet; an "assport" as a souvenir with stamps indicating which nation's toilets you've successfully used; the World War 2 challenge; a "gravy enema" to "put one in the chamber" to try out the toilet; Tom didn't know how an enema works

Funeral Brigade

Event or Activity, Business IdeaJon KingComment

Idea: A service to hire entertainers (celebs, magicians, etc.) for your funeral or a funeral of a loved one, so the funeral is less sad and has more of the feel of a social gathering that celebrates the life of the deceased. Also: secretly hiring celebrity actors to pretend that they were your friend; inappropriate laughter at a funeral; funeral pranks, such as hiring the "Weekend at Bernie's" actors or having the Publisher's Clearing House barge into the funeral and then say that they can't give away the money because the person is deceased

City Socks

Business Idea, ClothingNiles NowakComment

Idea: Vending machines in cities that contain socks and other cheap items that you might occasionally need due to weather or other scenarios when you're out on the town, such as socks (if your feet got wet from stepping in a puddle or something), sticks of deodorant ("City Sticks), hairbrushes and dry shampoo, sunblock, tampons, etc. Also: putting a baby blue silhouette of your city's skyline on the socks; you could re-use the Japanese used-panty vending machines; questioning whether there would be a social stigma to be seen in public wearing "city socks"; this might cause alleys in cities to be strewn with used condoms and soggy socks

Get Out of N-Word Free Card

Business Idea, Politics and Social IssueDevarron ThomasComment

Idea: A physical card available for purchase which allows people who aren't black to say the N-word, such as when singing along with a rap song (but not in anger and not ending with a "hard R"). Also: participation may vary; a shockingly racist slang for a snack food, and whether or not the card will allow you to eat it; paying retroactively; would paying for permission ruin the fun of saying it

Performance Venue Info and Signup App

App, Business Idea, Event or Activity, Standup ComedyShilpa RegeComment

Idea: An app to be used by amateur performers (primarily open mic comedians, but also maybe musicians, improv actors, etc.) to sign up to perform and to share info about the venue, including whether performers get a free drink (or have to buy drink(s)), whether it's safe for women, whether the bathrooms are clean, whether performers openly use drugs (and which drugs), etc. Also: how weird it is that everyone still uses Facebook to sign up for open mics; a feature to help you connect with other performers to hang out and/or to feel safe; brainstorming a title, such as Greenroom, Green Book, Mic Rate, etc.; merch for the app, such as a cup which performers could bring to the venue to get discounted drinks and so they don't have to drink out of a gross poorly-washed glass at a dive bar; passing a McDonalds burger backstage from person to person, each person taking a bite

Chest Freezer Camping

Business Idea, Event or Activity, TechTom WalmaComment

Idea: To camp in a large insulated and temperature-controlled box which is similar to a chest freezer, because it'd be much cheaper than an RV, and because the only time you really need to be enclosed and comfortable while camping is when trying to sleep. Also: an extra-wide 2-person version; a duel-use chest freezer with a normal chest freezer lid and a special camping lid that allows you to breathe and/or pops up like a tent; a lifting accessory to help you get it into and out of the back of a pickup truck; protection from wolves, bobcats, and possibly even bears; the possibility of being mocked by or creeping out other campers

Checkmate Fake Date Hiring App

App, Business IdeaDarius WalkerComment

Idea: An app to help you find, background check, pre-interview, and hire someone to be your partner during social events, possibly pretending to be your significant other so you don't get shamed for being single. Also: using the app to hide the fact that you're dating someone who's "not presentable"; using the app to get the correct number of people for a sporting event or physical activity; things that could go wrong, such as the wrong "mate" showing up or having a personality clash with your "mate"; debating whether more men or women would use the app

All-In-One Home & Body Cleaning Gel

Business IdeaCameron StahlComment

Idea: A cleaning product that can clean almost anything, including your body, hair, teeth, shower and sink, clothes, dishes, carpet, car, etc. Also: castile soap; getting fluoride all over your house; using it for purposes other than cleaning, such as lube (for both humans and machinery), killing bugs, unclogging pipes, etc; flavors and scents that would be good for some purposes but gross for other purposes; it might cause cancer in 40 years, but the amount of money you save over the years will be more than the cost of the chemo

Sports Logo Lawn Stencils

Sports, Business IdeaMilan StromileComment

Idea: Giant stencils which come with special biodegradable spray paint for you to stencil your favorite sports team's logo (or university's logo) on your lawn for the day of the game, and then wash it off afterwards with a hose. Also: ideas to prevent the stencils from being used for graffiti; using the stencils to mark parking spots; stenciling other things, such as anime characters, Christmas decorations, or angry break-up messages on the lawn

Bug Zapper Earrings

Business Idea, Clothing, SillinessChris YoungComment

Idea: Earrings which also function as a bug zapper, to be worn while camping to keep the bugs away. Also: the risk of electrocuting your head if you dive into a lake; using them as a mini-grill for tiny diet-sized pieces of chicken; shoving your wife's head towards a spider; if her ears start smoking, either she just killed a bug or she's really mad

Soapstone VR Comedy Club

Standup Comedy, Futuristic, Event or Activity, Business Idea, Social MediaAaron SorrelsComment

Idea: A comedy club in virtual reality, which Aaron created and runs in Facebook/Meta's Horizon Worlds. The comedy club has scheduled shows and also 24-7 open mic(s) (open mic rooms are dynamically created as existing rooms fill up). Also: if a comic starts telling racist jokes, Aaron might stab their VR avatar with a sword; the synergy of virtual reality and the NBA; the comforting effect of having a force-field that blocks the audience from the stage

"U Get What U Get" Restaurant

Silliness, Food, Business IdeaKevin CComment

Idea: A restaurant which intentionally serves you a different meal than what you ordered. The food you receive will be in the same general category/family as what you ordered (i.e. if you order a soup, they bring you a different soup; if you order a vegan dish, they bring you a different vegan dish). The food will be high quality and will not be pre-cooked. Also: after they've served you, they'll tell you what food it actually is (you won't be left wondering what you're looking at on your plate); they may expand upon the theme by giving you wrongly-sized eating utensils, having a different waiter/waitress come to your table each time, randomizing the dinner reservation waitlist, etc.; why people who work in restaurants hate DoorDash, Uber Eats, GrubHub, and Postmates

Eavesdrop Diner

TV Show, Food, Business Idea, Social MediaCarl SobelComment

Idea: A chain of restaurants where every table is live-streamed on the Internet to allow people watching at home to eavesdrop on their conversations, pay for their food and/or drinks, give them likes, chat/gossip with other eavesdroppers who're watching the same table, and (in some cases) send messages to interact with the people eating at the restaurant. Also: watching first dates, anniversary dinners, arguments, and break-ups; acting fake or fetishy for the camera; a coaster or tracker to allow the camera to follow you around while you do activities (like play pool) in the restaurant; an "event wheel" for eavesdroppers to spin to cause events in the restaurant (for example, to cause a waitress to spill the drinks)

Build-A-Mattress Workshop

Business IdeaJack ReevesComment

Idea: A workshop similar to Build-A-Bear but where you build a mattress. The mattress would be super-customized with different combinations of materials (feathers, springs, memory foam, etc.), different firmness settings, etc. Also: you could test it for comfort as you build it; you could make it a "smart mattress" containing electronics and software, which could get a virus and make it impossible to fall asleep or fold in half and kill you

Podcast Studio On-The-Go

Business Idea, Cars, MusicBryan HarrisonComment

Idea: To put podcast recording gear in a van and rent out recording time to other podcasters, and to drive the van to where they want to record. Also: the creepiness factor of telling a stranger to step into your van and maybe putting a boot on the tire of the van during the recording so they trust you not to kidnap them; renting out the van for other activities; putting a cheesy logo on the van and then embarrassing your kids by driving them to school in it; the "Chris Farley dream" (to live in a van down by the river)
