Idea: To solve racism by forcing everybody to wear augmented-reality race-swapping glasses which cause them to see their family and their favorite celebrities as the race that they hate the most. Also, a theory that the reason it's hard to digest "ethnic food" (or food from other cultures/races) is racism, and therefore that ending racism will cause both racial and gastrointestinal harmony

Drone-Propelled Rollerskating VR Game

Idea: A virtual reality videogame where the main character uses a handheld helicopter drone to propel himself/herself around on roller skates and chop up enemies. Also: VR for exercise, changing the stereotype of a "gamer", movement in VR that won't make you feel sick like walking or running often does

Reverse Pacemaker

Idea: An implantable medical device that detects when your heart stops, alerts a hospital, and then, instead of restarting your heart like a defibrillator/pacemaker, creates a cooling reaction in a cooling pad inside your body to cool nearby blood, and then the cooled blood is pumped through the body. This cooling slows cell death and gives you a few hours to be revived (like people who've drowned in Arctic ice water and then were revived a few hours later)

Brain Altering Helmet TV Show

Idea: A TV show where people wear a brain altering helmet (as covered on the Radiolab episode "Nine-Volt Nirvana") which can temporarily induce terror, relaxation, enhanced learning ability, disabled morality, etc. Then, they'd be put in a scenario, such as putting someone in a haunted house and modifying their brain to induce terror, or testing a religious person by putting them in a stressful situation and shutting off their sense of morality, just to see what will happen
