Perfect Companions SciFi Movie

Idea: A Black-Mirror-like sci-fi movie where a tech genius with the goal of "ending grief" creates robots for people to use specifically (and only) for replacing loved ones, such as after a death or a divorce. But parents use the robots to replace their living children who are disappointments with idealized versions of their children, neglecting their real children, and then chaos ensues. Also: A Russian robot in real life that tried to escape the lab; humanoid robot parents replace their humaniod robot children who are disappointments with idealized versions of their humanoid robot children

Idea: A strip club for couples which has both male strippers and female strippers. They could be in different rooms, in the same room but on different stages, or together on the same stage. Social Toy Drones

Idea (NSFW, dark humor): Flying a toy drone with a videocamera on it is like playing a videogame where nothing fun happens. A videodrone would be much funner if it had a speaker and a screen to show your face, that way you could do social things with real people and other videodrones. Examples include games like hide-and-seek, guided sky tours, drone charging "forts", kids using the drones to play together outside when their parents make them stay inside, playing with animals using apps that make animal noises, etc. Also: controlling a drone with your mind so that you feel like an actual bird

Cam Dogs

Idea: A web site where you can interact with a real dog virtually via a webcam, and also control robotics to feed the dog, pet the dog, and play with the dog (such as by throwing a ball). Possible customers include lonely elderly people, people in hospitals, people who are allergic to dogs or live in places where dogs aren't allowed, people in public (traveling or at work or school) who need to relax, etc. Also: emotionally blackmailing customers with pictures of sad dogs if they stop using the service; using footage of the dog in a "Black Mirror"-like scenario to create a robot with the same personality as the dog; themes or scenarios, such as a Scooby Doo robotic ghost adventure

Everybody Must Run For President

Idea: A giant tournament bracket in which everybody in the US runs for president. Each contest in the bracket consists of 8 candidates, and the winner among the 8 candidates advances to the next round. Each voter only votes for one 8-person contest per round. There are 10 rounds in total, and in the final round, everyone votes to determine who of the 8 final candidates becomes president. Also: horrible candidates like Mike Bloomberg might spend a million dollars per voter and still lose in the first round; if more democracy is better democracy, this has to be the best approach

Socialburn Foldable Phone

Idea: A device which looks like a smart phone but only contains WiFi for talking directly with your friends' socialburn devices. It is used for slow but secure social networking which can never reach the Internet. Messages and posts bounce from friend to friend when friends are in the same room with each other, eventually reaching all of your friends or a specific friend who is the target of the message. It can also physically attach to a normal smart phone and act as an extended screen for the normal phone, kind of like the recent fad of "foldable phones" which have a foldable screen and thus fold open to have a large screen like a tablet.

Plan A Party in Paradise

Vacations get boring after a while because they're purely a consumption of experiences. They lack the social satisfaction of helping people or giving joy to people. An idea to help vacationers give joy to other people (and therefore be less bored) is for resorts to organize an activity where vacationers help throw parties for other vacationers. Ideas: A makeup brand named "From Ho To Housewife" which is specialized for bachelorette parties, a double-sided razor with a blue side for men and a pink side for women. Also: Using the double-sided razor, he can stick his head next to her legs and they can shave together in one stroke to save time. And the double-sided razor provides plausible deniability for a man to use the women's razor because women's razors are smoother and more comfortable than men's razors.

Historical Concept Societies

Idea: To create societies of 100,000+ people who *loosely* live the lifestyle of a historical era (but with flushing toilets), including both the popular culture and the technology of the era. That way, they can make money on tourism, and if a huge global disaster occurs, and we lose all electricity or all computers or something, we have a large supply of people who know how to do stuff using older technology, who can instantly step in to help the rest of the world and prevent mass starvation. Also: the need for more physical leisure activities; as tech advances, there'll be a need for more and more societies based on different levels of technology, which will create more and more jobs

Generic Gig App With Job Training

Idea: Most education and job training is completely unnecessary. You could train almost anybody to do almost any job, like surgery, in under 30 days. So we should reduce training for most jobs by like 90% to allow people to do them as "gigs" using an Uber-like app, with job training built into the app. Also: the "gig economy" might kill drug dealing because now you can do a couple small gigs and spend the rest of the day on the couch playing videogames without the risk of being murdered or sent to prison

Superfi Dating App

Idea: A dating app which allows you to select potential dates solely by physical characteristics. You select body type, hair color, height, etc. kind of like you're designing a character in a videogame. You can also prioritize and filter out physical characteristics. For example: you prefer blondes over redheads, and want to filter out all of the brunettes. Also: if you're too picky, there's a good chance nobody will want to date you; if everything personality-based in dating profiles is a total lie, selecting dates based only on superficial physical characteristics doesn't seem so bad

Hurricane-Proof Housing Ideas

Ideas for hurricane-proof housing by myself and others, including floating houses in water-filled holes, "indoor tiny house(s)" that reside inside a full-sized house or skyscraper or standalone "shell" (like an iPhone case for a house) which can be towed away with your stuff inside if a hurricane comes (leaving the shell behind), houses where most of your stuff is continuously wheeled in and out of your house by robots to and from a neighborhood warehouse which can be hurricane-proof and/or flood-proof, and floating entire cities on ping-pong balls. Also: People seem incapable of seeing beyond natural disasters to design and plan houses and cities to withstand hurricanes and global warming sea rise. They're like the villain who was frozen in fear as Austin Powers drove a steamroller towards him at a snail's pace
